AM Graphics frequently asked questions
• how long does a portrait take?
On average a pastels/charcoal portrait commission takes a week, from order to completion. Paintings, normally take around three weeks for a simple portrait, (depending upon the type of commission) and during the Christmas period, I like to add another week to avoid disappointment, as the orders tend to extend. Postage timings are added onto this and unfortunately, I cannot vouch for their timelines, especially international. Therefore, I like to let my clients know that if they have a preferred date for their gift, to get their order in, as soon as possible.
• how do I pay?
I can accept direct deposit or PayPal. For Direct deposit, the process is that I take 50% deposit upon order. When you email me the photos, I send my payment information and you deposit. Once I have completed your commission, I send the photo to you (unless you want a surprise) and you pay me the balance, plus postage (which I work out upon each order). I always send the tracking information, once I have packaged and sent your artwork.
For PayPal, I send you the link or code and you pay the full amount (including postage if needed), then I get started at the agreed date of commencement.
• how does this work? what do I have to do next?
It's as simple as 1-2-3! With each commission I do, there are three simple steps you need to do. The beauty of this is you don't even need to visit my studio.
Please see the below steps to begin the process of getting your very own portrait commissioned, fur baby or people portraits, it is all the same.
three easy steps
Choose from three different styles available and two different techniques. For more information on style and prices click here.
Choose from your photos and email me a selection that bests matches the style you want. Hint - I always love close ups of eyes included.
Once I have received your order, with 50% deposit, I then begin your very own customised, hand drawn/painted portrait.
